OB Update

Hi Everyone!

Good news at my OB appointment today...the news I got two weeks ago that the twins were very different sizes appears to have just been a measuring error (which my OB had said it could be). Today they're measuring 4 lbs 8 oz and 4 lbs 12 oz...a little on the small side for 34 weeks, but totally normal for twins. I haven't been terribly worried about the disparity seen a couple of weeks ago, but I have been worrying a little, so good to have my mind put at ease.

I also had the NST at the hospital (as I will every week from here on out) and everything looks great! So all is well, just hoping to keep those babies inside a few more weeks (even though I'm super tired and uncomfortable these past few days...I can take tired and uncomfortable when gestating a few more weeks is what's best for the babies.)

Hope everyone is having a lovely Thursday!

XOXO

Hi Kristen, Just now catching up with you and your posts. You are indeed coming down to the finish line. Whatever discomfort you're going through right now, will fade soon when those precious babies are born. Will be watching and praying for you all. Love.

So happy to hear about the weights of your twin babies! fantastic... Tinely Godsman 11/2011 - (Eric and Bethany's) was 35 weeks and 5 pounds 12 oz. And that was just one Bambino. Your babies are quite a lovely size.

Sooo good to get reassuring news. If you continue to gain 1/2 pound a week per baby, the girl should be about seven pounds, and the boy, seven pounds, 4 ounces at term. TOTALLY normal, Kristen, especially for twins. It'll be interesting to see their actual weights in the end without all the speculation. Anyway, I'm happy for you and Jeff that everything is progressing well. I'm sure you must be getting uncomfortable (cause you look really BIG), but I admire your attitude of "whatever is best for the babies." While more time in the oven will be benificial to them, you're just about home free. You are all doing so well!

Kristen - that is great news! So glad that it was just a measuring error and your babes are measuring well and passed the NST. You've done amazingly well with this pregnancy! Can't believe you are 34 weeks!

So glad that everything is on track! I'm glad that you were able to not worry too much in between these measurements. Says a lot about you and how cool and calm you'll be as a mama to these little ones when they arrive!

You are doing so well! I bet you can make it to 38 weeks like I did :) I'm so glad to hear that they are doing great and you are still feeling well.
